Hayden Panettiere gushed over her bond with late “Ice Princess” co-star Michelle Trachtenberg nearly a year before Panettiere’s tragic death at age 36.
The “Heroes” alum told Entertainment Weekly last September that she knew Trachtenberg — who died in Feb. 2025 at age 39 — before they starred in their 2005 Disney film.
“Actually, her grandmother lived across the street from my grandparents in Brooklyn. So I knew Michelle way before that,” Panettiere said.
“Yeah, like ‘Harriet the Spy’ days,” she added, referring to Trachtenberg’s 1996 breakout film.
