How to stream Billie Eilish’s ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft’ Tour movie free
After hitting theaters earlier this year, the filmed version of Billie Eilish’s most recent concert tour is making its way to streaming.
“Billie Eilish – Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour” dropped on Paramount+ today, Aug. 6, for all subscribers.
The film includes performances of many of Eilish’s hit songs, including “Bad Guy,” “Birds of a Feather,” “Chihiro” and her Oscar-winning “Barbie” track, “What Was I Made For?”
Eilish co-directed the live capture of the tour with James Cameron, the man behind three of the four highest-grossing movies of all time (“Avatar,” its 2022 sequel, and 1997’s “Titanic).
The film was recorded across four nights in Manchester, England, and Eilish teased the project on stage during one of the shows.
“So you may have noticed that there are more cameras than usual in here,” she said. “Basically, I can’t say much about it but what I can say is that I’m working on something very, very special with somebody named James Cameron and it’s going to be in 3D.”
On a January episode of The Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter podcast, Cameron further explained how the project came together.
“[Eilish] thought it was a cool idea, and so I offered her co-directing with me because she’s the architect of that show,” he explained. “If you see that show, it’s astonishing. It’s so beautiful, and it’s such a great platform for her, and I wanted to shoot it in 3D. I just thought it’d be fun.”
