Who would you choose to spend eternity with?

That’s the question at the heart of “Eternity,” a new rom-com from A24 that drops on the Apple TV streaming service tomorrow, Feb. 13 — just in time for Valentine’s Day.

“Eternity” is set in a world where the recently deceased enter the afterlife at a place called “the Junction,” where they’ll have set amount of time to decide which Eternity to spend, well, eternity in. Each has a unique theme (like Mountain World, Beach World, Studio 54 World and Man-Free World) and every decision is permanent.

The film follows Joan (Elizabeth Olsen), who is faced with an impossible choice when her time finally comes. Will she spend eternity with Larry (Miles Teller), her husband of 65 years who died shortly before she does, or will she reunite with her first husband Luke (Callum Turner), who died in the Korean War shortly after they were married and waited in the Junction for Joan’s arrival — 67 years later.

‘Eternity’ Apple TV release date

“Eternity” officially drops on Apple TV on Friday, Feb. 13.

Apple TV has been known to “unofficially” drop new titles as early as 9 p.m. ET the day before a scheduled release date, though, so it’s likely you’ll be able to watch “Eternity” as soon as tonight, Feb. 12, at 9 p.m.
