“Sterling Point” premiered on the streamer today, Aug. 5, to critical acclaim.

The new coming-of-age drama follows 17-year-old Annie (Ella Rubin), who is raised alongside her twin brother by their adoptive father in New York City. Annie’s life takes a turn when she inherits her mysterious grandfather’s island in Canada. There, she finds new friends, budding romances and untold family secrets.

“Sterling Point” comes to Prime Video from creator Megan Park, who herself as experience with teen dramas from her time starring on “The Secret Life of the American Teenager.” Park is also the director of the 2024 coming-of-age standout “My Old Ass.”

Park is a co-showrunner alongside two of the biggest names in teen drama: Josh Schwartz, who created “The O.C.” and Stephanie Savage who, alongside Schwartz, developed “Gossip Girl” and “The Carrie Diaries,” among others.

All eight episodes of “Sterling Point” were released today, Aug. 5, and are now streaming on Prime Video.
