How Travis Kelce influenced Taylor Swift’s risqué ‘Life of a Showgirl’ album cover

Travis Kelce reportedly played a romantic role in Taylor Swift unleashing her “sexier side” on her “The Life of a Showgirl” album cover.

“Travis treats her with so much dignity and respect, and it has allowed her to explore a sexier side of herself safely,” the Daily Mail claimed Monday.

A source told the outlet that the pop star “couldn’t do [so] before because she didn’t feel as safe with other men as she does with Travis.”

Swift, who began dating the Kansas City Chiefs player in 2023, is “aware that she is maturing.”

The insider alleged, “[She] trusts that her fans will follow her through all parts of her personality, but she won’t be doing anything too explicit.”

Another source called Kelce, 35, a “confidence booster to whomever he surrounds himself with.”

Although Swift, also 35, already “has so much confidence in herself,” the athlete “reiterates this to her.”

The songwriter made her podcast debut last week to reveal her forthcoming album, which comes out Oct. 3.

For the cover, the Grammy winner sported a crystal-embellished Area dress while partially submerged in water.

Her other fishnet-heavy looks included a custom costume of pink ostrich feathers, as well as an edgy maroon bodysuit with and opera gloves.

Additionally, Swift posed in a bejeweled bra and briefs.

Social media users gushed over the American Music Award winner showing some skin, with one tweeting that Swift “ate” with “every single” look.

The musician shared her inspiration on “New Heights” last week, saying, “My day ends with me in a bathtub, not usually in a bedazzled dress. … I wanted to sort of, like, glamorize all the aspects of how [the Eras] Tour felt.

“The reason I wanted to have an offstage moment as the main album cover is because this album isn’t really about what happened to me onstage,” Swift noted. “It’s about what I was going through offstage.”

Aside from discussing her record, Swift gave rare insight into the beginning of her romance with Kelce.

“He [was] truly trying to get to know me in a way that’s very natural, very pure, very normal,” she recalled. “She way that he could make me laugh so immediately about normal things.”

Swift referred to the Super Bowl winner as the “good kind of crazy,” while he called himself the “luckiest guy in the world.”
