Hulk Hogan honored at memorial service in Florida

Hulk Hogan’s close family and friends gathered to commemorate the WWE icon at his memorial Tuesday.
Photos obtained by Page Six showed Hogan’s casket being carried into the funeral home. Loved ones appeared to be wearing flowers in one of the wrestler’s signature colors, yellow, to honor him.
Brooke Hogan, who was estranged from her famous father in recent years, was not pictured.
The emotional service was held at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park and Funeral Home in Clearwater, Fla.
Prior to the funeral, former WWE star Triple H, whose real name is Paul Michael Levesque, was spotted arriving in Florida via a private plane with his wife, former WWE co-CEO Stephanie McMahon.
Singer Kid Rock and comedian Theo Von were reportedly other notable names in attendance.
Hulk’s memorial service comes nearly two weeks after the former WWE superstar, born Terry Bollea, died after going into cardiac arrest at age 71.
Page Six broke the news that Hulk was to be cremated instead of buried with a spokesperson for the District Six Medical Examiner telling us last week, “I am not aware when Mr. Bollea will be cremated, only that we received a request for cremation approval.”
We also learned exclusively at the time that the pro wrestler’s official cause of death was a heart attack.
The medical examiner’s record, provided via the Pinellas County Forensic Science Center, also showed Hulk’s health history, including atrial fibrillation, a heart condition that causes irregular and rapid heart rate.
The document also shockingly revealed the “Hogan Knows Best” alum’s secret battle with leukemia.
Since Hulk’s passing was confirmed on July 24, his loved ones and fans worldwide mourned his death.
“We are heartbroken. He was such a great human being and friend,” his reps previously told Page Six.
Daily — who initially downplayed her husband’s poor health after he underwent a delicate neck surgery last May — wrote via Instagram after he died that her heart was “in pieces,” adding, “This loss is sudden and impossible to process.”
Nick, 35, also paid a tribute to his “best friend” via Instagram and wrote in part alongside a carousel of throwback photos, “This has been overwhelming and extremely difficult.”
He was then the lone surviving family member present at Hulk’s televised memorial on WWE’s “Monday Night Raw” on July 28, and was visibly moved, tearing up during a 10-bell salute.
Brooke, 37, skipped that tribute but later clarified online that she had not been invited in the first place.
Instead, the “About Us” singer — who reportedly asked to be removed from her dad’s will — expressed her love for her father in a lengthy post shared via Instagram.
She wrote in part on July 29, “Our bond has never broken, not even in his final moments. We had a connection deeper than words, one that spanned lifetimes.”
Brooke and Nick’s mother, Linda Hogan — who was married to Hulk from 1983 to 2009 — said in her tribute that she was “devastated” over the loss and admitted she was still in love with him all this time.
