Hulk Hogan leaves daughter Brooke out of $5M will
The details of Hulk Hogan’s will have been revealed.
The wrestling legend, who died of a heart attack in July, left behind nearly $5 million in assets, Us Weekly reported Wednesday, noting that his daughter, Brooke Hogan, was not listed as a beneficiary of his estate.
Hulk’s son, Nick Hogan, filed court documents to be named co-personal representative of his father’s estate along with a man named Terry McCoy, whom he proposed also be named the curator of the estate.
The court signed off on the requests.
According to Nick, his dad executed a will in 2016 and amended it in 2017, 2021, 2022 and July 2023 — two months before he married his widow, Sky Daily.
Nick, 35, was listed as the sole beneficiary of Hulk’s estate, while Daily was listed as a surviving spouse.
Nick reported that Hulk left behind $200,000 in cryptocurrency, $799,000 in personal property and intellectual property, his right to publicity, worth $4 million, and an unknown value for a potential medical malpractice lawsuit.
TMZ reported last month that Daily plans to file a medical malpractice lawsuit against the surgeon who operated on her late husband’s neck in May.
Nick did not list Hulk’s real estate property in the documents, which may be owned by a trust or LLC.
The athlete owned two separate homes next to each other in Clearwater, Fla. They are worth an estimated $11 million, according to Us Weekly.
Brooke, 37 — who had been estranged from her father for several years — asked to be removed from his will around the time he married Daily because she didn’t trust anyone around him and didn’t want to get caught up in a financial battle when he passed.
Hulk died at the age of 71 after going into cardiac arrest at one of his Clearwater homes. Page Six later revealed his cause of death was acute myocardial infarction, commonly known as a heart attack.
The father of two also had a history of atrial fibrillation (AFib), which is a heart condition characterized by an irregular and often rapid heart rate.
Additionally, Hulk had a history of leukemia CLL, a type of cancer that affects white blood cells called lymphocytes, which was not public knowledge.
Following his passing, Brooke clarified to her Instagram followers that her “sacred, quiet bond” with her dad had “never been broken” despite him putting up a “force field … [she] couldn’t get through.”
The singer has also cast doubt on Hulk’s “weird” leukemia battle, pointing to the fact that he’d had numerous surgeries in recent years — including one two months before he died — which required blood testing that would have detected a high white blood cell count.
