Ice Spice Goes Instagram Official With Jets Star Sauce Gardner

Ice Spice and NFL star Sauce Gardner are now Instagram-official. 

Ice Spice, 25, took to Instagram on Tuesday, April 29, to share a series of photos that included Gardner, 24, a cornerback for the New York Jets. In his first appearance in the rapper’s social media, the athlete is shown snapping a pic of the pair in a bathroom. While Ice Spice poses in front of a mirror sporting a pink hoodie and pants, Gardner stands behind her in a white sweatsuit, smiling and holding his phone. The counter in front of them is filled with toiletries and cosmetics. 

Elsewhere in the captionless social-media carousel, there’s a snap of Ice Spice in a recording studio and selfies of her wearing black lingerie as well as a pink bikini top and diamond cross necklace. 

Gardner’s cameo confirmed recent rumors that the twosome are dating. In April, the athlete posted an Instagram carousel with photos of the couple standing next to a Rolls-Royce. He’s since deleted the post, which he’d captioned with a single emoji of the Statue of Liberty. 

According to Vibe, Ice Spice and Gardner have been spotted out and about at the same events in the past few months. They both appeared on an episode of “The Shop” podcast in April 2024, and that September, Ice Spice was seen at a Jets game. Earlier this year, she and Gardner attended the Vanity Fair Oscars party, per TMZ. And in a fan’s recent Instagram clip, they were spotted riding down an escalator together. 

Ice Spice, born and raised in the Bronx, launched her music career in 2020 and blew up on TikTok in 2022 with the track “Munch (Feelin’ U).” She has since collaborated on songs with Nicki Minaj (“Princess Diana”) and Taylor Swift (“Karma”), and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best New Artist.

Gardner, who’s from Detroit, debuted with the Jets in 2022 and was later named the NFL’s Defensive Rookie of the Year.

Now that she’s (officially) dating a pro football player, perhaps Ice Spice will get some tips from her pal Swift, 35, on how to be a high-profile WAG. 

In July 2024, the “Did It First” rapper appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and talked about her experience cheering on Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs at the Super Bowl. At one point, Fallon, 50, showed a clip where Swift seemed to be explaining something to Ice Spice during the big game and asked, “Were you confused?”

“I was incredibly confused. I’m still confused,” Ice Spice admitted, adding that “I honestly would just wait until Taylor cheered” before joining in.
