Inside Alexander Zverev’s 2026 US Open victory celebrations at NYC hotspot

It was a smash!

Alexander Zverev celebrated his 2026 US Open victory with a private dinner followed by a booze-fueled nightclub celebration.

The German tennis champ dined with friends, family and his team members at Tao Downtown Restaurant before partying the night away at Tao Nightclub inside the same Chelsea venue Sunday night, a source exclusively told Page Six.

We’re told he and his crew indulged in dishes like orange chicken, Peking duck, spicy tuna and a huge dessert platter.

Later in the evening, Zverev was seen dancing with pals as he was greeted with a bottle parade and a sign that read “US Open Champion A. Zverev” at the hotspot, according to a video obtained by TMZ.

Earlier in the day, Zverev, 29, defeated Ben Shelton, 23, in four nail-biting sets — 6-3, 7-6 (2), 5-7, 6-2 — at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Flushing, Queens, to clinch his first US Open title and second Grand Slam championship of the year.

The victory was particularly sweet for Zverev, who suffered a crushing defeat at Flushing Meadows in 2020 after blowing a two-set lead to Dominic Thiem in the final.

This time around, Zverev dominated Shelton early before the 23-year-old American rallied to take the third set. Zverev quickly regained control in the fourth, dashing Shelton’s hopes of becoming the first American man to win the tournament since Andy Roddick’s victory in 2003.

During the trophy ceremony, Zverev acknowledged that “99.9 percent” of the packed stadium had been rooting for his opponent — but praised the hometown crowd for bringing “the energy” and “the noise.”

Several A-listers were in the stands, including Brad Pitt, Courteney Cox, Martha Stewart, Katie Holmes, Anna Wintour, Amy Schumer, Pierce Brosnan, Eliza Gonzalez, Savannah Guthrie, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez.

He also offered Shelton some words of encouragement, telling him he would bet “all [his] money” that the rising star would one day hoist the US Open championship trophy himself.

Zverev then took a swipe at Shelton’s girlfriend, American soccer player Trinity Rodman, who was sitting teary-eyed in the stands after her boyfriend’s crushing defeat.

“Trinity, I thought you had a game today, no? Well done to you as well. You’re the lucky charm,” Zverev said, adding, “Not today, but usually.”

Zverev also became emotional while thanking his mother, Irina, for refusing to let his childhood Type 1 diabetes diagnosis stand in the way of his tennis dreams.

“My mother is the most important and strongest person I know,” he said.

In the hours after his win, reports resurfaced of two former partners accusing Zverev of abuse.

An investigation into one accuser’s claims found insufficient evidence to substantiate them, while a separate German criminal case involving his other ex ended in a settlement without a finding of guilt.

The athlete has repeatedly denied the claims.
