Inside Kris Jenner’s Mom Mary Jo ‘MJ’ Shannon’s 91st Birthday Party

The Kardashian-Jenner family are ringing in another trip around the sun for matriarch Mary Jo “MJ” Shannon.

In a carousel of photos shared via Instagram on Sunday, July 27, Kylie Jenner shared a behind-the-scenes look at MJ’s celebration.

“91 years of MJ ♥️ the queeeeen 👑 we love you,” Kylie, who stunned in a fitted gingham Miu Miu dress, captioned her post. Kris Jenner added in the comments section, “A beautiful celebration filled with love!!! ❤️.”

Kris also honored her mom in a separate Instagram post, sharing a series of photos of the mother-daughter duo through the years.

“Happy birthday to my mommy MJ!!!” Kris captioned the upload. “You are truly the heart and soul of our family … the most incredible mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother we could ever dream of. Your strength, elegance, wit, and wisdom have shaped who we all are, and I am endlessly grateful for every lesson, every laugh, and every memory we’ve shared together. You’ve taught me what it means to be a strong woman, to work hard, to be kind, generous, to lead with love, and to never lose your sense of humor no matter what life throws your way.”

She concluded, “Thank you for being my rock all of these years, through every moment. You have always been my biggest cheerleader and confidant… You are forever my role model and I’m blessed beyond words to call you my mommy. We are ALL so blessed to be loved by you. I love you!!!
