It’s ‘scary’ how convincing he is

Britney Spears blasted her money-hungry ex-husband Kevin Federline who, she claims, is making a “profit off [her] pain” with his upcoming memoir.

The pop star posted a lengthy message via X Thursday criticizing Federline for “attacking” her in his recent interviews promoting his book titled, “You Thought You Knew,” and spreading a false and harmful narrative about her.

“Why is HE SO ANGRY … and what’s scary is he’s convincing,” she said of how Federline puts on a sob story act for the cameras. “It literally blows my mind the moments he stops before he cries are you f–king serious.”

She also admitted that she thinks his bombshell book “will sell loads more” than her 2023 memoir, “The Woman in Me,” which detailed her personal life behind-the-scenes, including their three year marriage.

“If you really love someone then you don’t help them by humiliating them,” Spears continued. “What scared me was how serious and angry he got, people have no idea, it is way worse than anyone could imagine.”

The Grammy winner claimed that the father of her two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden, “hates” her and must have a “deep anger to literally say the things he is saying.”

She also compared her former relationship with Federline to the toxic ones she had with her parents, Jamie and Lynne Spears, detailing how they all would tell her “we just love you so much and wish you were here,” but in reality would “secretly love to cast [her] out and make [her] feel completely isolated.”

A rep for Federline did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.

Her relationship with her father has allegedly been “nonexistent” since her 13-year conservatorship came to and end in 2021, while her relationship with her mom is seemingly “more complicated” with some communication. She has publicly blamed them both for the conservatorship.

Amidst all of the headlines about her coming from her ex’s book, the pop princess shared that she needs “healing” and plans to do so by gardening in her greenhouse.

“I’m gonna get real dirty in there with all the dirt, but I don’t care I’m honestly liberated and so damn blessed [the plants] arrived!!! There are so many things to do to heal…” she explained.

The “Circus” hitmaker also heartbreakingly revealed that another way she wants to heal is “just general contact and communication with people,” which she seemingly hasn’t had recently. She even name-dropped Michelle Pheiffer and Paris Jackson whom she says she wants to have “coffee, lunch, or dinner with.”

“It is important to look up to people and still believe in humanity, and there are extremely cool beautiful people here,” she said.

The Louisiana native concluded the message by teasing upcoming projects including a potential radio podcast, acting gigs and a monthly column. Spears made sure to thank “the people supporting [her] heart right now” who understand how much the situation hurts her.

Federline has thrown a slew of accusations at his ex-wife in the excerpts released from his book so far, painting the musician as violent and mentally unstable.

In what may be two of the most disturbing claims, he wrote that their two sons woke up to their mom watching them sleep with “knife in her hand” and did cocaine while still breastfeeding them.

According to the former dancer, the cocaine incident was “the proverbial final straw” in their marriage that ended in 2007.

Spears has not addressed any specific claims but also slammed Federline for his “constant gaslighting” that is “extremely hurtful and exhausting” in another scathing post on X Wednesday.

“Trust me, those white lies in that book, they are going straight to the bank and I am the only one who genuinely gets hurt here,” she penned.
