Jacob Elordi and Olivia Jade Giannulli Are ‘Seeing Each Other Again’ After Split: Source (Exclusive)

Jacob Elordi and Olivia Jade Giannulli have started dating again, a source exclusively tells Us Weekly.

“Olivia and Jacob are seeing each other again and giving it another shot,” the insider tells Us. “They have been on and off for many months and recently reconnected in NYC. They aren’t putting a label on it but are trying to see if the relationship will work again.”

Us Weekly has reached out to representatives for both Elordi and Giannulli for comment.

Elordi, 28, and Giannulli, 25, were first romantically linked in December 2021, dating on and off until this summer. The pair sparked reconciliation speculation after Giannulli attended the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of Elordi’s movie Frankenstein on Monday, September 8.

According to the source, neither Elordi nor Giannulli had “fully closed the door” on their relationship.

“There is deep rooted love between them,” the insider adds. “Jacob has a busy schedule right now and Olivia is now splitting her time between L.A. and New York, but they’re making more of an effort this time to prioritize each other. Both are approaching things with more maturity, taking it slow, and seeing where it goes.”

Us previously confirmed in August that Olivia Jade, one of Lori Loughlin and Massimo Giannulli’s daughters, and Elordi called it quits after a “rocky” summer. In the midst of the breakup, Olivia Jade briefly moved to Paris.

“I moved to Paris … for a bit,” the influencer said in a YouTube vlog shared in July. “I’m here for a little while living, so I’m really excited to get some videos out for you guys. And it’s just going to be, I feel like such an exciting, formative time.”

She added, “I love how light it stays for so long in the days. It feels amazing. … There’s just a lot going on, and it’s all really good and really exciting.”

Olivia Jade and Elordi have often refrained from publicly speaking about their on-off relationship.

“I just want to be a part of the world,” the Saltburn actor told Men’s Health in 2021 about keeping his personal life to himself. “I want to have a life. I want to have the same 80-, 85-year — more or less — experience that everyone has. I don’t want to miss anything by sitting on some overly sour pile of candy.”

Elordi also attributed his down-to-earth demeanor to time spent with his family in their native Australia.

“It helps me check myself a lot of the time and make sure that my head is not, you know, the size of an air balloon,” he added of dealing with the spotlight. “But at the same time, sometimes it can be quite crippling, because you don’t want to accept any of the praise or good things that come from the work.”
