Jennifer Aniston slams VP candidate J.D. Vance for calling women without kids ‘childless cat ladies’

Jennifer Aniston is in disbelief over J.D. Vance’s past comments that resurfaced this week.
The “Friends” alum called out the GOP vice presidential candidate on her Instagram Story Wednesday after Vance’s comments from a July 2021 interview with Fox News went viral.
In the clip she shared, the “Hillbilly Elegy” author referenced Democratic politicians and claimed the US was being controlled by “childless cat ladies who are miserable at their own lives and … want to make the rest of the country miserable too.”
“I truly can’t believe this is coming from a potential VP of the United States,” Aniston, 55, wrote in response.
“All I can say is… Mr. Vance, I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to bear children of her own one day,” added the “Morning Show” star, who has previously opened up about her personal IVF story.
“I hope she will not need to turn to IVF as a second option. Because you are trying to take that away from her, too.”
In the resurfaced interview, Vance, 39, claimed that Kamala Harris, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Pete Buttigieg were “people without children” who were controlling the “entire future of the Democrats.”
“How does it make any sense that we’ve turned our country over to people who don’t really have a direct stake in it?” he said.
Vance, who shares sons Ewan, 6, and Vivek, 4, and daughter Mirabel, 2, with his wife, Usha — was named former President Donald Trump’s running mate on July 15.
Nearly one week later, President Biden announced he was no longer seeking reelection and endorsed Vice President Harris as the Democratic nominee.
Harris, 59, is a stepmom to her husband Doug Emhoff’s two children, son Cole, 29, and daughter Ella, 25.
Aniston, meanwhile, opened up about her IVF journey in 2022, telling Allure magazine that she was grateful to have gone through the “s–tty” and “challenging” time.
“If it wasn’t for going through that, I would’ve never become who I was meant to be,” she said.
“I’ve spent so many years protecting my story about IVF,” the actress added. “I’m so protective of these parts because I feel like there’s so little that I get to keep to myself. … I don’t have anything to hide.”
