Jennifer Garner admits to being a ‘wreck’ the ‘whole month’ before daughter Violet graduated from high school

Jennifer Garner admitted she cried constantly over as she prepared for her daughter Violet to graduate from high school.

“I was a wreck the whole month leading up to it,” Garner told Hoda Kotb and Sheinelle Jones on Monday’s episode of “Today with Hoda and Jenna.”

She added, “Every awards ceremony, every final, everything, I just cried and cried at everything,”

Several photos of the “13 Going on 30” actress crying in an auditorium, on a plane and during an outdoor ceremony flashed in the background as she gushed about Violet, whom she shares with ex-husband Ben Affleck.

“Then, the day of [graduation] was so happy that there was nothing to be other than just so proud and happy,” she said.

Garner, 52, appeared on the morning show with her mom, Patricia “Pat” Ann Garner, who revealed she was a mess when her three daughters left home too.

“Oh, graduation was fine, but when they went to college, that’s another thing, and when Jennifer went, I just howled,” she recalled and remembered having a feeling Jennifer would “never come home again.”

The “Alias” star captioned all the crying snaps on social media, “Tell me you have a graduate without telling me you have a graduate. 🎓 (bless our hearts 🥺♥️🤣).”

Garner and Affleck –– who also co-parent Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12 –– threw Violet a graduation party in Los Angeles last month.

The “Air” actor, 51, was photographed carrying a box filled with pink goodies while he walked alongside his current wife, Jennifer Lopez. The two remained straight faced amid speculation they separated and are headed towards divorce.

Violet nor her famous parents have yet to declare where she’ll be attending college in the fall, but she previously hinted that she’d be studying at Yale University after she wore a sweatshirt sporting the Ivy League’s logo.

The former couple got back into the graduation spirit just a few weeks later when they attended son Samuel’s middle school graduation on June 12.

Once again, Lopez, 54, joined them for the festivities, but notably arrived separately from Affleck and brought along her 16-year-old twins.

The “On the Floor” singer and the “Argo” actor have been facing split speculation for the last month ever since he moved out of their shared home in Brentwood, Calif.

Most recently, Affleck was seen flipping out at paparazzi and not wearing his wedding ring as Lopez vacationed solo in Italy.
