‘Jersey Shore’ star Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola engaged to Justin May: ‘Luckiest girl in the world’

She’s getting married.

“Jersey Shore” star Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola is engaged to boyfriend Justin May.

“Life update: Fiancé 💍🥹♥️ 3.16.24 The easiest question I’ve ever answered.. happiest & luckiest girl in the world 😭 I’ll love you forever and then some 🤍 #Futurewifey #Engaged,” Giancola captioned images from the proposal while announcing the news on Instagram Monday.

“Can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you,” the 37-year-old added on the April 1 message before making sure that her followers knew it was “Not an April fools joke.”

She also shared some close-up images of her round diamond engagement ring, which features a gold band.

May posted similar pictures to his own Instagram account, writing, “She said yes! Can’t wait to Marry my best friend! Love you so much babe! ❤️💍 can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you!”

Immediately after the news was shared, a number of Giancola’s MTV co-stars congratulated the couple, who have been dating since 2021, in their comment sections.

Angelina Pivarnick wrote, “@sammisweetheart ❤ congrats mama to you and @j_may36 #wedding 😍,” while Pauly D added, “Ayeeeee congrats 🍾 🥂 🙌🙌.”

Giancola is best known as one of the eight roommates featured in MTV’s “Jersey Shore,” which ran for six seasons from 2009 to 2012. She currently stars on the sequel series, “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation,” after not appearing in its first five seasons.

Prior to her relationship with May, Giancola famously dated her co-star, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro. Their romance started during Season 1 of the original “Jersey Shore” series, but they later broke up during the January 2010 reunion episode.

They then dated on and off for years until the show’s series finale in 2012, when they shared their plan to move in together.

A little under two years later, however, they broke up for good.

Giancola later got engaged to Christian Biscardi, but in July 2021, she confirmed they had ended their four-year relationship.

This will be Giancola’s first marriage.
