Jill Zarin hits back after being called ‘insufferable’ on ‘Below Deck,’ says ‘no cameras’ are allowed on next vacation

Jill Zarin won’t be filming her next vacation after facing backlash for being “rude” during her recent appearance on “Below Deck.”
The “Real Housewives of New York City” alum shared a new photo of herself from the vacation to Instagram Tuesday with a caption that seemingly addressed the negative comments.
“Thank you @themelindaspringer and @mrnoahspringer for an amazing trip. We made a great show together but this summer’s trip NO cameras! Love you both 🤍 🤍 🤍,” Zarin captioned the Instagram Story.
Zarin, 60, also reposted two Instagram Stories from “Below Deck” cast member and stewardess, Barbara “Barbie” Pascual, who defended Zarin and admitted that she “was right” about certain things she was requesting on the superyacht.
“You guys, I watched the show back, and I don’t think that Jill was as bad as it looked, and I just wanna also say that there were so many other moments where she was super fun and sweet and nice,” Pascual said in an Instagram Story selfe video on Tuesday.
The stewardess did acknowledge that Zarin was “demanding,” but she was “not rude” and was asking for things that are “actually normal yacht requirements” and “pretty logical.”
“She was right. She just wanted nugget ice in her Diet Coke, that’s not a big deal,” Pascual said.
Pascual emphasized in another Instagram Story that Zarin “really was not so bad,” and after watching Monday’s episode, she realized that she “ran her name through the mud.”
“I take it back, and she really is not so bad,” she shared.
Zarin’s rep didn’t respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
However, Pascual clarified that Zarin asking for a doorbell, so she could buzz the crew members anytime she needed anything was “too much.”
Pascual’s other co-stars –– such as Fraser Olender or Chef Anthony Iracane –– who also talked not-so-kindly about Zarin on the episode have not addressed the episode.
Zarin’s name began trending after Monday night’s episode aired, and several Twitter users called her out for acting like a “spoiled brat,” coming off as “entitled” and “absolutely insufferable.”
During the episode, Zarin made several suggestions to the crew members –– including a specific kind of ice cubes for her Diet Coke, a bell, toiletries in the bathrooms and food out at all times.

“Jill is the primary in her head. She’s overwhelming,” Pascual said in a confessional, while later adding, “I think she’s annoying, and I think it’s too much. You’re a freeloading guest who’s extremely demanding. This is too much for me. I need another stew just for Jill.”
Olender also called out Zarin for “crawling into my brain and eating away at my soul.”
“I think the primary, she’s OK, but her friend taking over the boat, it’s like she’s a f–king captain,” Iracane added in his confessional. “Like taking over the ship.”
The episode ended with Captain Kerry encouraging the crew members to focus on the primary guest and not get “rattled” by Zarin.
