Stacey Solomon has candidly opened up about the reality of creating her picture-perfect Instagram posts, revealing that not everyone at Pickle Cottage is on board with her social media antics especially her hubby Joe Swash.
In a hilarious behind-the-scenes clip shared on Instagram, the 34 year old former X Factor contestant had her followers chuckling as she exposed what really happens during her content creation process. It turns out that Joe, the ex EastEnders star, is quite frankly “sick of it”.
The much-loved TV personality posted a video attempting to flaunt her new bedding range when she quipped in a voiceover: “Behind every strong, incredible woman trying to make beautiful content online is a husband who is absolutely sick of their s**t.”
The footage then showed Stacey instructing: “It’s too fast. Do it again,” while Joe, unbeknownst to viewers, was behind her swiftly stripping the bed. He humorously retorted: “I’m sick of this s**t.”

Stacey, who is a doting mum to Zachary, 15, Leighton, 11, Rex, four, Rose, two, and one year old Belle, added a comical touch to the post by writing: “He loves it really I don’t know why I bother trying to make fancy, pretty content. I much prefer the behind the scenes with Joe Swash edit Tag your Joe Swash Happy Tuesday everyone. Hope this makes you laugh as much as it did me my bedding is my range, @georgehome.”
OK! reports that Stacey and Joe’s recent antics come after vigilant fans warned the mother of five about a snack her daughter Rose was munching on. The tot was happily tucking into a packet of raisins, dropping some on the floor as she did so – but followers were quick to highlight the potential danger this could pose for Stacey’s beloved pets.
In a subsequent social media post, Stacey expressed gratitude to her watchful fans, though she confessed she had already taken care of the situation. Responding to a fan who messaged her saying: “I bet you’ve had ten million messages. Dogs shouldn’t eat raisins” followed by a string of laughing emojis and hearts.
The TV personality responded: “Literally 10 million. This is why I was telling Rose we have to pick them up and they can’t be eaten by the doggies and there are no doggies around Belle’s high chair when usually that’s their favourite spot. But just in case any of that still wasn’t clear… DON’T feed raisins to dogs.”
According to animal charity PDSA, “grapes, raisins, sultanas and currants are all potentially poisonous to dogs and if eaten they can cause gut problems and in serious cases, kidney failure.”
Little Rose was seen scattering some raisins on the high chair for her sister and also dropping plenty onto the floor, which she suggested could be “for the doggies”. Fortunately, animal enthusiast Stacey knows exactly what she’s doing.
