Jonas Brothers Will Headline NFL’s Halftime Show During 49ers vs. Rams Game in Australia
The NFL has enlisted the Jonas Brothers to headline a Halftime Show during the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams’ historic game in Melbourne, Australia.
“We couldn’t be more excited to perform at halftime during the NFL’s first-ever regular season game in Australia,” Joe Jonas, Kevin Jonas and Nick Jonas said in a joint statement on Wednesday, August 12. “Playing at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground in front of such passionate Australian fans is an incredible honor.”
The Camp Rock 3 trio added, “We can’t wait to be part of this historic moment and celebrate with everyone in the stadium and watching around the world.”
The 2026 NFL Melbourne Game is set to air live on Netflix on September 10. The “Sucker” group will take to the stage at the historic Melbourne Cricket Ground as part of a collaboration between the NFL, the Victorian State Government and Visit Victoria.
“Bringing the first-ever NFL regular season game to Australia is a landmark moment for the league, and we are committed to creating an entertainment experience that reflects the scale and significance of the occasion,” Tim Tubito, senior director of global game presentation and entertainment at the NFL, said on Wednesday. “The Jonas Brothers are global entertainers whose music connects across generations, making them the ideal artists to help us celebrate this historic game in Melbourne. We look forward to delivering a memorable halftime performance for our fans in Australia and those watching around the world.”
The Jonas Brothers are no strangers to NFL halftime gigs, having previously played during the Dallas Cowboys’ game against the New York Giants on Thanksgiving Day in November 2022. They also appeared during the opening day of the 2023 NFL Draft in Kansas City.
“The Jonas Brothers are global superstars with an incredible ability to bring people together through music, making them the perfect addition to Australia’s first-ever regular season NFL game,” Charlotte Offord, NFL general manager of Australia and New Zealand, added. “We’re building an unforgettable experience for fans, and having an internationally renowned act like the Jonas Brothers perform at halftime reinforces the scale and significance of this historic event. We can’t wait to welcome our fans from across Australia and beyond for a truly world-class celebration of sport and entertainment.”
The NFL will hold a record-breaking nine international games this season, including playing three weeks in a row in London on October 4, October 11 and October 18. A first-ever NFL Paris Game will take place between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New Orleans Saints at the Stade de France on October 25. (Each international game will feature its own unique Halftime Show, with performers to be announced soon.)
There is no telling yet who will headline the Super Bowl LXI Halftime Show when the “Big Game” takes place at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, on February 14, 2027. The 2026 Halftime Show at Super Bowl LX featured a much-discussed set by Bad Bunny.
The 2026 NFL Melbourne Game airs on Netflix September 10 at 8:35 p.m. ET.
