Jordon Hudson Files Trademarks for Boyfriend Bill Belichick’s ‘Version’ of His Phrases That Robert Kraft Owns
Jordon Hudson and Bill Belichick are taking a page out of Taylor Swift’s playbook.
After the couple made headlines in March for Belichick’s request that his girlfriend be looped in on all of his work emails, Hudson, 24, appears to be helping Belichick, 72, reclaim the trademarks to various phrases coined by the iconic football coach that are currently owned by Robert Kraft and the New England Patriots.
On April 3, Trouble Cub Enterprises, which Hudson is the CEO and founder of according to her LinkedIn profile, filed for 14 trademarks with the federal trademark office, according to documents obtained and reviewed by PEOPLE.
Among the trademarks Hudson wants TCE to own are several phrases like, “Do Your Job,” and “Ignore the Noise,” which are currently trademarked by the New England Patriots. Hudson has instead listed them with “(Bill’s Version)” at the end — much like how Swift, 35, released re-recorded versions of her discography after it was purchased by Scooter Braun.
Currently, the Patriots own the trademarks to both of the previously mentioned phrases, per the federal trademark office, as well as “No Days Off,” which Hudson, with Belichick’s consent, is trademarking as “No Days Off (Bill’s Version).”
And Hudson dropped a few additional hints suggesting she’s taking inspiration from Swift’s method of reclaiming her work. Hudson has been making references to snakes in her comments and captions, as well as sartorially, and on April 4, the day after her birthday, Hudson used Swift’s single “Look What You Made Me Do” — widely known as a lyrical jab at Braun — on Instagram.
In a post on April 13, Hudson wore a snakeskin outfit as Swift’s “Vigilante S—” played, another song believed to be referencing her feud with Braun. And when she was seen at a recent UNC football practice, Hudson was sporting a snakeskin coat while chatting with Belichick on the sidelines.
PEOPLE has contacted a representative for Kraft for comment.
