Julia Fox wears ‘undressed’ dress and bra top to London gala

That’s one way to wear a power suit.

Julia Fox arrived at the Liberatum Cultural Honour Gala in London on Wednesday evening in a surrealist look that put a unique spin on “getting dressed.”

The 35-year-old actress turned heads in a sculptural showstopper from Robert Wun’s Fall 2025 Couture collection featuring an ivory satin cone bra, white slip, and a towering black-and-white pinstriped hat that looked ready to take flight.

Around her hips, a matching pinstriped skirt cascaded into a floor-length train, leaving her toned midriff completely exposed.

The bag she carried appeared to be fully dressed, however, with the leather bustier-shaped tote clad in a blazer of its own.

As Wun explained to Vogue, “Why not dress the bag too?”

Uncharacteristically, Fox ditched the runway gloves, which featured pointed fingernail-like tips that matched the rest of the ensemble. This original design element added an extra layer of drama to the theatrical look when it debuted on the Fall 2025 Couture runway in Paris.

Fox is known for her avant-garde styles and finds pleasure in wearing the peculiar. Some looks are more practical than others, while her most outrageous ensembles can barely be called clothing.

Stepping out in this “undressed” Robert Wun creation directly challenges any preconceived notions about what it means to show up wearing pinstripes.

Fans and fashion devotees appreciate how Fox wears experimental design. It calls attention not only to the wearer, but also to the exceptional craftsmanship of the couture industry.

After all, it is called the “art” of getting dressed. And Fox continues to be a worthy patron.
