Julia Roberts celebrates twins Hazel and Phinnaeus’ 21st birthday with rare pic
Julia Roberts’ fraternal twins are celebrating a milestone birthday.
Phinnaeus and Hazel turned 21 on Friday, and the Oscar-winning actress commemorated their special day with a throwback photo shared via Instagram.
The adorable tribute showed the siblings as toddlers, enjoying what appears to be a much earlier birthday celebration in their high chairs. Hazel could be seen giving the camera a bright grin, while Phinnaeus gazed at her with a cute, quizzical expression.
“These game changers, life alterers, [heart] expanders once were 1 and now are 21! That was fast,” Roberts, 58, captioned the shot. “Happy Birthday my Dears.”
The comments section buzzed with well-wishes for the twins, including one from actress Ali Wentworth, who wrote, “Happy Birthday to the best!”
Roberts shares her twins with husband Danny Moder. She and the cinematographer, 56, have been married since 2002 and are also parents to son Henry, who turned 18 in June.
Although Roberts doesn’t share pics of her children very often, fans were treated earlier this year to a rare photo of her posing with all three of her kids, as part of a Mother’s Day tribute from Moder.
“Mothers make the coolest stuff. Love these guys,” Moder captioned an Instagram snap of his wife and their children smiling for the camera.
Last month, during her appearance on “The Late Show with Steven Colbert,” Roberts discussed how family dynamics have changed now that her kids are all adults and have officially moved out of the house.
Although she made a joke about “sobbing” on-air regarding the topic, she said everyone remains close.
“I love hanging out with them and spending time with them,” Roberts shared. “Fortunately, we have had lots of visits along the way of this empty nest.”
Back in 2022, the “Pretty Woman” star opened up about how much parenthood means to her.
“When I’m not working, [being a homemaker] is my full-time job,” she explained in a sit-down interview with CBS at the time.
“It isn’t rainbows and kittens every day, but it does bring me a lot of joy.”
