A registered sex offender fatally shot his wife and four kids in an apparent murder-suicide at their home in Winfield, Kansas.
Police said that the shooting took place around 8:50 a.m. on Tuesday, August 11.
Hours after the incident happened, the Winfield Police Department revealed more information during a press conference.
Officials said that officers received a 911 call from the suspect, who was identified as Ronald H. Williams Sr. , around 8:50 a.m. During the call, Williams Sr., 53, said that he had killed his family and he was planned to die by suicide soon after.
