Kanye West allegedly accused Kim Kardashian of ‘faking’ 2016 Paris robbery
Kim Kardashian claimed her ex-husband Kanye West insisted her 2016 Paris robbery was a hoax.
“My ex-husband had said, ‘And you faked your robbery for a TV show,’” the reality star told viewers on Thursday’s episode of “The Kardashians,” alleging West made the accusation “in front of all these people.”
The Skims creator teared up over the “knife to [the] heart” comment in her emotional confessional.
“Just to think that someone wouldn’t believe you — that’s so close to you, that should know you, that should know how much that affected your life — it just really bothered me,” she explained.
“You don’t know who I am.”
Kardashian, 45, was married to West, 48, when she was held at gunpoint in her hotel room in the terrifying theft.
The rapper reflected on how “helpless” he felt in an interview with Charlamagne Tha God two years later.
The Grammy winner noted in the 2018 sit down that Kardashian overheard the masked men saying they had been “strategizing and scheming… for a long time” — but waited until she was alone to strike.
“When she finally got to Paris by herself, they were like, ‘OK, this is our chance,’” the Yeezy creator recalled.
The former couple, who are the parents of daughter North, 12, son Saint, 9, daughter Chicago, 7, and son Psalm, 6, called it quits in 2021.
The duo settled their divorce in November 2022.
Kardashian flew to Paris earlier this year to testify in the heist trial for nearly six hours — while decked out in diamonds — and documented the experience on Thursday’s episode.
After facing “these people and hear[ing] their accounts and apologies” during the May legal proceedings, Kardashian felt like saying, “See, guys? It was real.”
Eight defendants, notably, were found guilty of crimes linked to the robbery.
Kardashian gushed in a confessional about how “happy” she is that “it’s over.”
The law student’s childhood friend also looked back on the robbery and revealed that Kardashian developed a plan to “jump out the window” if the men returned.
After Kris Jenner similarly recalled her daughter being “ready to jump,” Kardashian confirmed, “I was ready for anything.”
New episodes of “The Kardashians” premiere Thursdays on Hulu.
