Kanye West jokes about punching man after alleged Bianca Censori sexual assault incident: ‘He had to go to bed’
Kanye West made light of a recent physical altercation he had with a man who allegedly touched his wife, Bianca Censori, inappropriately.
“He had to go to bed early. [I] tucked this n–a in,” the “Stronger” rapper, 46, said on “The Download” podcast Tuesday before bursting into laughter. “He had to go to bed early.”
West allegedly struck the man — who was identified this last weekend as either Mark Houston or Jonnie Houston, twin brothers who are hospitality mavens — while out with Censori, 31 at Chateau Marmont.
The “Power” rapper said on the podcast that while he was in the bathroom of the celebrity hotspot in Los Angeles, one of the men allegedly “grabbed” the Australian model.
“I didn’t see it directly, and [Censori] started just explaining to me what happened, so then I walked over and found him,” West said.
The “All of the Lights” rapper said security had tried to escort the man off the premises, but the businessman allegedly tried to brush off the ordeal, saying, “It’s OK.”
West said he then responded, “No, it’s not OK,” and proceeded to punch him.
TMZ spoke to sources Saturday who contradicted the “Famous” rapper’s account of the events.
The insiders claimed either Mark or Johnnie “accidentally” bumped into Censori, and that West allegedly hit the wrong twin who wasn’t even involved in the incident.
“He actually ended up punching the wrong dude,” a source told TMZ. The outlet also cited police sources, claiming they hadn’t “been able to dig up evidence that backs Kanye’s account.”
However, West’s rep Milo Yiannopoulos doubled down on the claims that Censori was assaulted.
“We find it absolutely disgusting that any journalist would choose not to believe a woman when she tells them about a sexual assault committed against her,” the Yeezy chief of staff told Page Six at the time.
“But of course, you don’t have to take Bianca’s word for it. The hotel assembled its own detailed incident report. Drawing on eyewitness testimony from staffers and video surveillance footage, the report says Bianca was ‘handled’ by an assailant who ‘eventually let go.’”
Yiannopoulos further alleged that the assailant “seized” the architect under her “dress directly on her skin around the waist, forcibly spun her around, and blew kisses in her face.”
He concluded, “This was a physical, sexual assault and any attempt to undermine the seriousness of what happened is repellent and vile.”
Police are investigating the incident and West has been named as a suspect in the battery case.
The Houston brothers did not return Page Six’s request for comment.
