Kat Stickler Details Near Wardrobe Mishap in Amazon Dress: ‘But It Was $12, So It’s Fine’

Influencer Kat Stickler could hardly contain herself as she told her followers about a wardrobe mishap involving a $12 Amazon dress.

Stickler, 31, took to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, December 2, to show off the gray, long-sleeved sweater dress she had been wearing all day, which featured a V-neckline and buttons down the front. The content creator broke into hysterical laughter as she demonstrated what happened every time she sat down in the frock — the space between the buttons expanded, putting her bare stomach beneath the dress on display.

“I can see your belly button,” someone behind the camera told Stickler.

Wiping away tears between fits of laughter, Sticker said of the dress, “But it was only $12 so it’s fine! But I’ve been walking around with my dress [like this].”

Stickler then stood up to show off her black knee-high boots, which she called “go-go boots.”

The comedian completed her ensemble with a pair of gold earrings and a long gold necklace.

Stickler wrote over the video, “I cannot get over the fact I wore this all day and didn’t realize I was literally busting out of it.”

Stickler further poked fun at the wardrobe mishap in a skit video on her Instagram page, titled, “POV: on a first date in your luteal phase.” The skit opened with Stickler’s character sitting down for dinner and telling her date that she gained “six lbs in my sleep last night,” which caused her dress to no longer fit.

“This is what happens when I sit down,” Stickler said with a laugh, seemingly breaking character.

Stickler’s dress isn’t the only piece of clothing that has caught attention lately. In November, eagle-eyed fans noticed that she wore John Mayer’s “Life With John Mayer Baby Blue Sweatpants” from his official merch website in a photo posted to her Instagram Stories. The snap showed Stickler posing in the sweatpants beside a box of donuts, which may have been another nod to Mayer, 48, as he implemented the “Donut Sundays” tradition on his tour.

The photo came more than one month after Us Weekly exclusively confirmed that Stickler and Mayer are dating.

“John sought her out and pursued her,” a source told Us in October. “Kat just broke up with someone she had been dating for a few months and thought it would be fun to date again, and was interested in John.”

The insider added that the “Your Body is a Wonderland” singer’s relationship with Stickler is “still very new,” but the two have been out together multiple times, including their first sighting at New York City’s Fly Fish in October.

“He has been actively pursuing her, inviting her places and texting her often,” the source continued. “She is interested and seeing where it goes.”

Though the insider said Stickler, who shares daughter Mary-Katherine, 5, with ex-husband Michael Stickler, “doesn’t think this will be a serious relationship,” she is “having fun” with Mayer.

Neither Stickler nor Mayer have publicly confirmed their relationship status. Us has reached out to both parties for comment.
