Kate Cassidy honors late boyfriend Liam Payne on his birthday

Kate Cassidy commemorated what would have been Liam Payne’s 32nd birthday by baking a cake.

The influencer, 26, shared an Instagram reel Friday of her adding all of the ingredients into a bowl, putting them into an oven, decorating the cake and then enjoying a bite with her dog.

She appeared makeup-free in the video and was dressed casually in a white tank top and sweats with her blond hair in a ponytail.

Cassidy captioned the emotional clip set to Mazzy Star’s “Fade Into You,” “happy birthday Liam, I know you still have the sweetest tooth in heaven. I tried my best here but it’s the thought that counts 🙂enjoy !”

She also posted a separate video montage of memories the former couple shared together.

The videos featured Payne dancing, joking around and running on a beach during happier times.

Cassidy captioned that clip, “8.29.93. A special day for the most special soul. I miss you so much. Happy Birthday Liam. I wish we could celebrate together. In the next life I guess❤️”

The social media star also shared via an Instagram Story that while she had been grocery shopping at Whole Foods Friday, the woman in front of her purchased a slew of cupcakes, which she took as a sign.

This is the first anniversary of Payne’s birthday since he died on Oct. 16, 2024, at age 31.

The singer tragically fell from the third floor balcony of his CasaSur Palermo Hotel room in Argentina. Drugs were later found in his system and some are facing criminal charges as a result of his passing.

Cassidy had been traveling with Payne for up to two weeks prior to his death, but left two days before the tragedy because she “wanted to be home with her dog,” her friend previously told The Post.

The former One Direction member reportedly begged his then-girlfriend to stay with him and started behaving in an “erratic” manner once she left his side.

Cassidy said a few days after Payne’s death, “Nothing about the past few days have felt real. I ask and pray that you’ll give me the grace and space to navigate this in private.

“Liam, my angel. You are everything. I want you to know I loved you unconditionally and completely. I will continue to love you for the rest of my life. I love you Liam.”

She later revealed that she and the “What Makes You Beautiful” singer had talked about getting married.

Earlier this year, Cassidy still seemed heartbroken over the loss, as she broke down in tears while remembering her and Payne’s final memories together.

The model also shared late last year that she got a tattoo of angel wings to commemorate Payne’s death.
