This color really suits her.

Kate Middleton, 43, made an unannounced appearance at Home-Start Oxford on Thursday, stepping out in a striking chartreuse green trouser suit by designer pal Victoria Beckham.

She paired the look with a coordinating knit long-sleeve top and her go-to Ralph Lauren Celia tan pumps ($750) for the visit focused on early childhood development and family relationships, wearing her hair in long, loose waves.

Jewelry-wise, the Princess of Wales kept it simple with Kiki McDonough’s amethyst pear drop earrings ($1,130) and Daniella Draper’s gold trio diamond midnight moon necklace (from $1,800) personalized with her children’s initials.

This isn’t the first time Middleton has worn this particular suit, but it conveys a special meaning today as a new documentary about the famous singer-turned-designer just dropped on Netflix.

She debuted the suit back in May while presenting the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design to sustainability-focused designer Patrick McDowell during a ceremony hosted by the British Fashion Council. For that occasion, she styled it with a white ruffled blouse and the same Ralph Lauren heels.

Swapping the contrasting top out for a matching chartreuse knit takes the look into fall and makes for a striking silhouette. The monochromatic styling really makes the shade pop.

During her visit, Middleton met with Home-Start Oxford’s volunteers and joined families during a stay-and-play session.

The mother of three has taken on early childhood as a focus of her royal work, and recently delivered a stark warning about screen time, writing in an essay that “when we check our phones during conversations, scroll through social media during family dinners, or respond to e-mails while playing with our children, we’re not just being distracted, we are withdrawing the basic form of love that human connection requires.”

The Princess penned the piece in partnership with Professor Robert Waldinger for The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, which she founded in 2021.

Prince William previously revealed that he and Kate’s three children — Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7 — do not have smartphones, with the family emphasizing quality time and eating dinners together.

The surprise outing comes as Kate continues her gradual return to royal duties following her cancer diagnosis.

She announced in September 2024 that she had completed chemotherapy and confirmed that she is in remission in January of this year.
