Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau are going strong!

The pop star, 41, and the former prime minister of Canada, 53, made their first public appearance as a couple on Saturday, Oct. 25.

Perry and Trudeau attended a cabaret show at the Crazy Horse Paris to mark the “Dark Horse” musician’s birthday, according to TMZ.

In photos obtained by the outlet, the pair could be seen walking out of the theater while holding hands and smiling.

Perry wore a vibrant red dress, while the politician kept it casually cool in an all-black ensemble for their date night in France.

Perry and Trudeau first sparked romance rumors over the summer, when they were spotted on a date in Montreal, Canada.

At the time of their first public outing, Perry had recently separated from her ex-fiancé, Orlando Bloom, in June. Trudeau, meanwhile, had separated from his wife, Sophie Grégoire, after 18 years of marriage in 2023.

After not being seen together again for a few months, Perry and Trudeau were then photographed in September, hugging and kissing on a yacht off the coast of Santa Barbara.

A source later told PEOPLE that Trudeau had “been pursuing” the Grammy nominee since their dates in Montreal. “He even flew to California to see her during a tour break,” the insider said. “They have an easy connection. She finds him attractive. He’s been very respectful.”

Perry is currently touring the globe as part of her Lifetimes Tour, in support of her latest album, 143.

The concert series kicked off in Mexico City in April. Since then, she’s made stops in various cities across the United States, Canada and Australia, and Perry is now traveling around the world to connect with more fans.

Marking her birthday on Oct. 25, Perry shared an Instagram Stories post featuring a funny message from X, poking fun at how her mother, Mary Perry, “released Katy Perry” in the same way the singer would drop a new musical project.

Earlier in the week, Perry celebrated her astrological sign, writing in an Instagram post, “We have officially entered Scorpio szn ♏️🦂.”

Tickets to Perry’s Lifetimes Tour — which sees her perform songs from her latest album, as well as other hits from her iconic discography, including “California Gurls,” “I Kissed a Girl,” “Roar” and “Firework” — can be purchased here.
