Katy Perry seen on dinner date with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in Montreal
Could there be fireworks?
Katy Perry looked smitten while on a dinner date with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in Montreal, Canada.
The “Dark Horse” singer, 40, and the politician, 53, recently grabbed a bite to eat at the swanky restaurant Le Violon, per photos obtained by TMZ.
In the photos, Perry appeared to be engaged in the conversation as she leaned across the table during their chat.
An eyewitness told the outlet that the pair, who were monitored closely by security guards, enjoyed cocktails and shared several dishes, including one with lobster.
At one point, the chef came out to speak to Perry and Trudeau, the outlet reports, noting that after they finished their meal, they went to the kitchen to personally thank the staff.
Page Six has reached out to reps for both Perry and Trudeau for comment but did not immediately hear back.
Perry is currently touring in Canada and has a show tonight in Ottawa and one in Montreal tomorrow.
Earlier this month, the pop star and her then-fiancé, Orlando Bloom, confirmed in a joint statement they had split after 10 years together.
Days after their statement, Perry and the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star, 48, posed together in a cozy family photo with their 4-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove.
The exes also looked tense while enjoying lunch together at the Cala di Volpe resort in Porto Cervo, Italy.
The “Dark Horse” singer and Bloom began dating in 2016 but broke up around March 2017. However, they rekindled their romance in early 2018 with a trip to the Maldives.
Perry and the “Deep Cover” actor got engaged in February 2019 and welcomed their daughter in August 2020.
Meanwhile, Justin and his estranged wife, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau, announced their separation in 2023 after 18 years together.
The exes share three children: Xavier, 17, Ella-Grace, 16, and Hadrien, 11.
