Keith Urban cancels concert hours before he was set to take stage after Nicole Kidman split

Newly single Keith Urban was forced to cancel his High and Alive World Tour stop in South Carolina after being diagnosed with laryngitis earlier this week.

The country singer was hours away from taking the stage at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville on Wednesday when a venue rep announced that he was advised by laryngologist Dr. Gaelyn Garrett to “cancel his performance.”

“He has been placed on complete vocal rest and Dr. Garrett is optimistic that he will be back onstage for his Nashville show,” the statement read, referring to the hitmaker’s concert at the Bridgestone Arena on Friday night.

Urban, 57, also expressed his disappointment, sharing in the statement, “Hey Greenville, I’m so SO sorry to have to cancel the show.

“I know all the logistics it takes to get to a concert these days and I’ve never taken any of that, or any of YOU for granted. I’m looking forward to getting back there when we can!!!!!”

The “Fighter” singer embarked on his tour in May, months before it was revealed that he and his estranged wife, Nicole Kidman, 58, had parted ways

Page Six confirmed on Sept. 29 that Urban and the “Babygirl” star had called it quits after 19 years of marriage.

“Sometimes relationships just run their course,” an insider told us, with another telling TMZ that the exes had been living separately since the beginning of summer.

The following day, Kidman confirmed the news when she filed for divorce, citing the reason for their split as “irreconcilable differences.”

In the court filings obtained by Page Six, she requested to be the “primary residential parent” for her and the “Let it Roll” singer’s daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.

While the duo has yet to comment on their separation, they seemingly hinted at trouble in paradise, with interviews and social media snubs throughout the past few months.

We were told that Kidman was “really upset” by the breakup, but was committed to “moving on with her life — and making sure her kids are taken care of.”

After the filing, the “Practical Magic” star didn’t shy away from returning to the spotlight for the amFAR’s auction in Texas on Oct. 4, and at Paris Fashion Week a few days later.

Urban, meanwhile, notably stepped out without his wedding ring for the first time on Oct. 2 ahead of his performance in Hershey, Pa.

The hitmaker also paid tribute to Kidman and their kids at the show later that night, despite controversially changing the lyrics to his song inspired by the actress, “The Fighter,” a few days before.
