Kelly Clarkson wears $22K healing pendant after ex Brandon Blackstock’s death
Kelly Clarkson is seeking renewal and healing with her choice of jewelry after the tragic death of her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock.
The singer was spotted wearing Sorellina Jewelry’s Le Stelle (The Star) Tarot Card pendant ($22,500) around her neck at LAX Saturday in her first public sighting since Blackstock’s death.
According to the product description, the pendant signifies hope, inspiration, positivity, renewal, healing and rejuvenation. The Star card — which depicts a female kneeling amongst land, sea and stars — “shows us that even in the darkest of times, there will always come light.”
“It serves as a reminder to keep a renewed sense of hope during difficult periods and your courage will be rewarded,” the jewelry brand notes on its website.
“There’s a feeling of magic as she lets go of what no longer serves her to welcome in a new, peaceful chapter of life,” the description continues. “The ultimate message of the card is to dream big and open yourself to new ideas and opportunities.”
The pendant — which is made of 18-carat yellow gold and composed of sapphire, tsavorite, diamonds and black onyx — retails for $22,500 alone, or $27,000 when purchased with the 20-inch ball chain.
Clarkson was dressed in all black as she arrived at the airport sporting a cowboy hat and sunglasses. The talk show host, 43, was with her sister, Alyssa, and kids, River, 11, and Remington, 9.
Clarkson welcomed River and Remington with Blackstock, whom she was married to from October 2013 to March 2022. He died earlier this month at the age of 48 following a private, three-year battle with melanoma, the most aggressive form of skin cancer.
According to a Daily Mail report, the “Because of You” singer has felt some guilt over her ex-husband’s death, questioning whether the stress of their contentious divorce was detrimental to his health.
“Kelly is aware of talk that stress can impact the body and make someone more susceptible to cancer,” a source told the outlet.
“Although the timing could be purely coincidental, she knows how much tension the divorce and lawsuits put on them.”
The insider added that “being there for her kids is helping her to cope with the onslaught of emotions.”
After Blackstock’s death, news broke that the talent manager had been in a relationship with Clarkson’s former assistant, Brittney Marie Jones, at the time of his death. Jones allegedly cheated on her husband with Blackstock, Page Six exclusively learned.
Jones’ now-ex-husband, Greg LaPoint, found out about her alleged affair with Blackstock in the summer of 2023, a source alleged.
“He got screwed over due to [Jones and Blackstock’s] fling starting during his marriage,” the insider claimed.
