Kelly Osbourne reveals she’s permanently cut ties with sister Aimee

Kelly Osbourne revealed she has permanently cut ties with her older sister Aimee Osbourne because they are “polar opposities.”

“If I’m honest, my older sister didn’t really ever acknowledge me and my brother [Jack Osbourne],” the “Osbournes” alum said on the “We Need to Talk” podcast Tuesday.

“She was just in her own world doing her own thing. I do, to a certain extent, feel as though she was embarrassed of us,” Kelly revealed.

When the podcast host asked if Aimee was embarrassed of her whole family — including parents Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne — Kelly replied: “I’ll never really truly understand. It just felt that way.”

She added, “I know … we’re very different. Everything I am, she’s not. Everything she is, I’m not. Like you couldn’t be more polar opposite. We’re like oil and water.”

The mom of one, 41, said she harbors some “resentment” towards Aimee, 43, for not being a true big sister to her.

When asked if reconciliation between the siblings was possible, Kelly sternly shut that down.

“I respect her, I accept her, but we’re different, and that’s ok,” she explained.

“If you’re not going to accept me for who I am, and constantly be trying to change me and say horrible things about me, and truly seem to thrive when I’m not doing well, I don’t want you in my life,” Kelly added.

Sharon, 73, and Ozzy welcomed their oldest daughter, Aimee, in September 1983. The former “Talk” host and the Black Sabbath frontman then welcomed daughter Kelly and son Jack in 1984 and 1985, respectively.

Aimee refused to join her famous family on their reality TV show, “The Osbournes,” which premiered on MTV in March 2002 and ran until March 2005.

Aimee was absent or blurred in family photos shown on the series and moved out of their family home at 16 so she wouldn’t have to participate.

The singer told the Independent that she didn’t want to appear on “The Osbournes” because she was still “trying to figure out who I was in the chaos of family life.”

“I wanted to protect myself, my parents, my siblings, too. They were very young, very impressionable,” she told the outlet.

Although Kelly and Aimee are not close, the latter did make a rare appearance alongside her family at the 2026 Grammys to honor her late father, who died in July 2025 from a heart attack.

Ozzy also shared kids Elliot Kingsley, Jessica Osbourne and Louis Osbourne with his ex-wife, Thelma Riley, whom he was married to from 1971 to 1982.
