Kelvin Banks Jr.’s Baby Son Vomits on TV After Dad Is Drafted by the New Orleans Saints

New Orleans Saints newcomer Kelvin Banks Jr.’s baby son had a viral reaction to his dad being drafted!
Banks, 21, was the No. 9 pick in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft on Thursday, April 24, after playing college football for the Texas Longhorns.
The offensive tackle was overcome with emotion as he was drafted by the Saints, as caught on the SEC Network’s coverage of Thursday’s proceedings. Banks was seen covering his face with a baseball cap as he shed a tear and processed the big news.
However, eagle-eyed viewers on social media caught another emotional reaction that occurred to Banks’ right. The football player’s infant son, Khalil, appeared to vomit while being cradled in his mom’s arms. (Banks and partner Demetria Bolden first announced they were expecting a baby last November.)

The moment quickly made the rounds on social media, with one X user writing, “We just had a baby throw up during the NFL Draft.”
Another quipped, “Kelvin Banks the 3rd thinks the #saints isn’t a good fit.”
While Khalil may have stolen the spotlight from his dad, the new Saints tackle received plenty of love from his partner as the draft got underway.
“What a mighty God we serve! This day really came fast. I still remember us at 15, sitting around talking about our dreams and now here we are, almost six years later, doing exactly what we said we would. Nobody matches your drive or passion,” Bolden paid tribute to Banks via her Instagram Story on Thursday.
“It’s always been you vs. you. I’m so proud of you, and I can’t wait to see you shine at the next level. This is just the beginning, baby! Lil K and I love you so much. You lead the way, and I’ll be right there with you, always,” she added alongside a gridiron sideline photo of her kissing Banks during a game.
In another Instagram Story, Bolden shared a photo of little Khalil rocking a blinged-out chain emblazoned with the words, “Bank on it.”
Banks was joined by Cam Ward, Travis Hunter, Abdul Carter, Will Campbell, Mason Graham, Ashton Jeanty, Armand Membou, Tetairoa McMillan and Colston Loveland as the first 10 picks of this year’s NFL Draft.
