Khloé Kardashian reacts to ex Lamar Odom calling her ‘wife’ during first reunion since 2016 divorce

Lamar Odom caught Khloé Kardashian off guard when he called her his “wife” during their first reunion since their 2016 divorce.
The Good American co-founder’s rare interaction with the former Los Angeles Lakers player was captured in the Season 6 premiere of “The Kardashians” Thursday.
Odom, 45, had arrived at Kardashian’s home to pick up some of his old belongings when he flirtatiously quipped, “My wife is the s–t.”
Kardashian, 40, didn’t seem to take the comment too seriously in the moment and brushed it aside.
“OK, calm down,” she said with a laugh.
The Hulu personality then admitted in a confessional that she does not “have a lot of emotions” surrounding the meetup with her ex-husband.
“I have dealt with so much trauma in this relationship. For years, this was such the love of my life that to learn how to unlove someone, to have to go through all that, it’s almost like a death,” she explained.
“So, him calling me his ‘wife,’ words are empty. I don’t know this person anymore.”
Kardashian called the reunion “a mindf–k” and shared that she felt like it was simultaneously “so familiar” and “so uncharted.”
The “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” alum’s relationship with the retired basketball star unraveled in December 2013 when she filed for divorce after nearly four years of marriage.
The proceedings were put on hold in October 2015 after Odom suffered a near-fatal drug overdose at a Las Vegas brothel and subsequently fell into a coma.
Kardashian remained by the athlete’s side and took care of him as he healed.
However, she filed for divorce a second time in May 2016. They finalized the case that December.
Odom reflected on how his unfaithfulness and addiction issues impacted their relationship in his 2019 memoir, “Darkness to Light.”
“At the start of our marriage I was faithful to her,” he wrote. “I could not handle the lethal cocktail of the spotlight, addiction, a diminishing career and infidelity. Oh, did I mention the paranoia, anxiety, depression. … I couldn’t keep my d–k in my pants or the coke out of my nose.”
The two-time NBA champion admitted he had sex with “more than 2,000 women,” adding, “There were too many strippers to count.”
“My sex addiction and my cocaine addiction go hand in hand,” he wrote.
Odom said he has learned to live with his regrets and wishes he “could have been more of a man.”
Kardashian moved on from her toxic marriage to her former “Khloé & Lamar” co-star with on-and-off partner Tristan Thompson, with whom she welcomed two children: daughter True, 6, and son Tatum, 2.
The duo broke up for good in 2021 after another cheating scandal involving Thompson, 33, conceiving a child with another woman.
