Kimora Lee Simmons revealed she has taken Sean “Diddy” Combs and the late Kim Porter’s four kids under her wing.

The fashion designer labeled herself as a “surrogate mom” to the former couple’s sons, Quincy Brown, 34, King Combs, 27, and twin daughters, D’Lila Combs and Jessie Combs, 18, during Wednesday’s appearance on “Today with Jenna & Friends.”

“One of my friends who passed away, Kim Porter, I have all of her kids,” she said. “Even though some of them are adults.”

Talking about D’Lila and Jessie, Simmons, 50, continued, “I just got off the phone with them.”

When Porter died in 2018, the businesswoman pledged to look after her friend’s four children, writing in an emotional Instagram statement, “You will look after and guide us all.”

While Porter originally welcomed Brown with her ex-husband, Al B. Sure!, her son was later adopted by Diddy during their on-again, off-again romance from 1994 to 2007.

The music mogul, who was arrested in September 2024, is currently serving 50 months in jail after he was convicted of transportation for prostitution earlier this year.

He will be released in June 2028.

Also in the interview, Simmons shared she’s the honorary “mom” to a lot of people, saying, “There’s no co-parenting.”

“The kids are with me every day,” she continued. “I have a lot of help. It takes a village, so I have god moms and aunties and friends … It’s really a village of women.”

Aside from taking Porter and Sean’s kids under her wings, the TV personality is the biological mother to daughters Ming, 25, and Aoki, 21, with her first ex-husband, Russell Simmons, whom she was married to from 1998 to 2009.

Kimora also welcomed a now-16-year-old son, Kenzo, with her ex Djimon Hounsou, and a 10-year-old son with her second ex-husband, Tim Leissner, with whom she was wed from 2014 to 2022.

Additionally, the Baby Phat founder adopted her son Gary in 2020 when he was 10 years old.

Kimora put her life as a single mom to five kids on full display for viewers in her new series, “Kimora: Back in the Fab Lane.”

The series premiered Tuesday on E!.
