He’s the last man standing, so he has a lot to celebrate.

Kool & The Gang’s last surviving original member, Robert “Kool” Bell, took over the Lobster Club in New York on Wednesday night to celebrate his 75 years around the sun.

His sister-in-law and manager, Tia Sinclair, hosted the event – and the theme of his birthday bash was, “Kool 75: ‘Love the Life You Live,’” a nod to the soul and funk band’s 1972 hit.

The party kicked off at around 6:30p.m. with guests entering the swanky Midtown restaurant to see waiters serving Bell’s Le Kool champagne.

Jazz bandSanti Debriano Trio performed during the cocktail hour.

One partygoer described their set as “a wink to Kool & the Gang’s jazzy beginnings!”

Comedian and “In Living Color” alum Tommy Davidson hopped on stage to toast the guest of honor.

After he performed a “hilarious” comedy routine, Bell’s favorite singer, R&B crooner Kem, surprised him with a 45-minute interactive set during which he brought up songstress Chante Moore to belt out a number.

Kem got the audience involved, singing songs as they sat on couches around the stage.

“It was like having all of your best friends, colleagues, and family having a singalong with Kem. It was magical and Kool was blown away,” another partygoer shared.

Rapper Flavor Flav even hopped onstage and “paid a very loving tribute” to Bell, we’re told.

Valerie Simpson, Thomas McClary, SiriusXM’s Dion Summers and BJ Stone, Stephen Hill, Bill Perkins and Warner Chappell Music CEO Carianne Marshall were a few of the VIPs to attend.

“Deceitful Lies” star and wife of late Kool & the Gang co-founder, Dennis “Dee Tee” Thomas, Penwah described the energy in the room as “pure love.”

“All of the wives – the ‘wandering widows’ — came out to honor the last one standing,” she added.

Starry pals such as Debbie Allen, Andy Cohen, Craig Robinson, Macy Gray, Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis and others sent in birthday videos to honor the “Rock & Roll Hall of Fame” inductee.

The night ended at around 11p.m. with servers rolling out a birthday cake that was a life-size replica of the bass player’s guitar.

Bell’s family and friends joined him on stage, and thanked everyone for their love and support.

Guests went home with little bottles of champagne, custom chocolates, and Bell’s Kool King coconut water.
