Kristin Cavallari is opening up about her recent reunion with her Laguna Beach costars.

In the June 17 episode of her podcast, Cavallari, 38, shared behind-the-scenes details of the reunion with alums from the show, which took place during her Let’s Be Honest podcast tour and was highlighted in her E! docuseries, Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour.

While on tour in Chicago, Cavallari welcomed alums from Laguna Beach, including Lala Olsen, Jason Wahler, Alex Murrel, Talan Torriero and Jess Revans.

The reunion did not exactly go according to plan, she said on the podcast.

“Being on stage with Laguna, it did feel chaotic,” she said, adding: “This is my first live podcast tour. I’ve never done this before, so I’m very hard on myself. Anyways, I realized I’m kind of more sensitive than I thought.”

While on stage, Cavallari joked with Torriero (whom she previously dated), saying his longer hair made him look like “a bad boy.”

“I’m slowly turning into a Montana boy,” Torriero then joked, referring to Cavallari’s ex, Montana Boyz TikTok member Mark Estes. “By the way, I’m out of beer.”

In her Honestly Cavallari, the reality star’s reaction can be seen in real time — and she certainly wasn’t happy with the remarks. Still, she said on the podcast that the show did make her emotions appear more “amped up” than they truly were.

“So, yes, that is my very real reaction coming off stage,” she said on the podcast. “My reactions to Talon during the show were very much amped up. I mean, you’ll hear it in the podcast episode. You know, him saying the Montana boys, I wasn’t like, ‘Oh my god.’ Like, I think I probably laughed.”

Elsewhere in the podcast, Cavallari said she has “a lot of empathy” for the cast of Laguna Beach, noting that speaking live in front of a large audience isn’t for everyone. “The people who do not do this stuff, being able to get up on stage and do this in front of a thousand people and cameras,” she said, is difficult.

Cavallari also touched on the situation in the May 5 episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

When host Jimmy Fallon asked if it was “fun” to reunite with her Lagana Beach pals, she said: “I don’t know if fun is the right word. It was something….When you get your whole high school crew together, everyone gets nervous, everyone starts drinking.”

“I felt like I was back in high school,” she added. “We get everyone on stage, and the wheels just started falling off.”

While on Fallon, she also called out Torriero in particular, saying, “Talan just really was coming for me and giving me a hard time. I think he got nervous, right? So, his go-to was to like, come at me, which is fine. I can handle it.”
