Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky are âtaking a break’ from couples therapy amid their separation

Kyle Richards confirmed she and Mauricio Umansky have taken a step back from couples therapy amid their ongoing marital issues.
“We haven’t been in therapy in a while, to be honest,” the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star told her followers during an Amazon Live session Monday.
“We’re just taking a break from that, but we get along very well and we’re really good friends.”
While it’s unclear when the former couple decided to halt their therapy sessions, sources told TMZ in November that they were going to counseling separately because they wanted “space” from each other.
At the time, the insiders insisted Richards, 55, and Umansky, 53, weren’t heading toward divorce despite exploring their lives individually.
In July, Page Six confirmed that the real estate broker and the “Halloween” actress separated after 27 years of marriage.
Days later, the duo addressed the rumblings, claiming they’ve experienced the “most challenging” year of marriage.
Richards has refused to spill the details of why she and her estranged husband decided to separate, telling her “RHOBH” co-stars during the Season 13 reunion in March that “it’s nobody’s f–king business.”
However, the Bravo star admitted that their breaking point ultimately had to do with her losing trust in her husband.

“With any marriage, there’s issues that you have, and they come up, and then something like I said in my interview happened where I did lose my trust,” she explained during the reunion.
“I care about my family first, and I really did try, and then when I couldn’t, the kind of things that I was, I don’t want to say putting up with, just became more apparent to me, I guess I couldn’t do that anymore and I finally just had a breaking point.”
The co-parents have continued to put up a united front for family vacations and holidays for the sake of their daughters Alexia, 27, Sophia, 24, and Portia, 16. Richards also shares daughter Farrah, 35, with ex-husband Guraish Aldjufrie.
However, as the “Buying Beverly Hills” star and Richards’ marital issues remain unresolved, an eyewitness told Page Six that Umansky was overheard talking about “moving out” of their shared home during a boys’ trip to Aspen, Co.
A part of their separation agreement also means the former couple is free to date other people as they navigate this unforeseen chapter.
The Bravolebrity has been rumored to be dating her close friend and country star Morgan Wade, 29.
Despite jetting off together and sharing matching tattoos, Richards has insisted that she and the “Wilder Days” songstress are just friends.
“She plays a very important role in my life, as do a lot of my friends,” the “Halloween Kills” star told “Entertainment Tonight” in February. “Everyone is so focused on Morgan. I’ve seen my other friends getting edited out of photos, they’re just snipped right out, tossed to the side, you know?”
Meanwhile, Umansky has been spotted on outings with mystery women and was most recently rumored to be dating his “Dancing With the Stars” co-star Emma Slater, though the two denied being together.
