The Laguna Beach cast is kissing and telling.
The cast from the second season of the hit series sat down with Kristin Cavallari, 38, for a live taping of her Let’s Be Honest podcast, which was released on Thursday, June 19. As the podcast’s title suggests, they didn’t hold back, not even when discussing hookups of their past.
When asked by the podcaster if they took part in any celebrity hookups that people wouldn’t know about, Alex Murrel, 38, cracked. In fact, she didn’t hesitate to name more than one.
“So this is kind of like a bad one. So there’s two,” she said during the Still Rockin’ the Red Solo Cups: Let’s Be Honest Tour. “So one, Nick Carter,” she revealed, naming the Backstreet Boys singer. The revelation resulted in immediate screams from the live audience.
“It’s probably all what you’d imagine it to be,” she said.
Cavallari asked, “Like dirty? Like rough and dirty?”
“It was during that stage, that not-so-snatched stage for him,” chimed in Alex Hoozy.
Murrel continued, “And one time, I was at a club and I think it was you or I forget it was one of us. I was like making out with Pauly Shore, and that was so bad. So bad.”
The crowd was loud, reacting in complete shock at the revelation of the hookup with the 57-year-old comedic actor, nearly 20 years her elder.
“You guys, I was so embarrassed. I think because he ripped me off. He was like, ‘Do you even know what you’re doing? This is like so embarrassing’.” She continued, “I didn’t even know who he was, that was the worst part!”
“You guys, I am not afraid to admit that L.A. was dark days for me,” she joked. “I get it. I get it.”
Murrel is married to Kyle Mark Johnson, whom she wed in 2014. Together, they share three sons: Levi William, 8, Kase Robert, 6, and Rome Gerard, 2 ½.
Cavallari recently opened up about a reunion with her Laguna Beach costars. During the June 17 episode of her podcast, she shared behind-the-scenes details of the get together, which took place during her Let’s Be Honest podcast tour.
While on tour in Chicago, Cavallari welcomed alums from Laguna Beach, including Lala Olsen, Jason Wahler, Alex Murrel, Talan Torriero and Jess Revans.
The reunion did not exactly go according to plan, she admitted on the podcast.
“Being on stage with Laguna, it did feel chaotic,” she said, adding: “This is my first live podcast tour. I’ve never done this before, so I’m very hard on myself. Anyways, I realized I’m kind of more sensitive than I thought.”
