Lauren Sánchez shoos away Jeff Bezos on Vanity Fair Oscars Party 2026 red carpet
Lauren Sánchez was caught shooing away her husband, Jeff Bezos, while posing for pics on the Vanity Fair Oscars Party 2026 red carpet Sunday night.
The awkward moment was captured on camera and uploaded to Vanity Fair’s official X account.
It showed Sánchez, 56, and Bezos, 62, posing together at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art before the former journalist gestured for the Amazon founder to move aside.
Once Bezos was out of the frame, Sánchez went on to pose solo.
She showed off her all-black ensemble, which consisted of a vintage John Galliano strapless gown, tights, heels and a stunning selection of 85 carats of diamonds designed by Lorraine Schwartz.
Bezos complemented his wife’s ensemble with a classic black tuxedo and matching bowtie.
Sánchez and her billionaire husband are no strangers to the Vanity Fair Oscars Party, as they have attended the annual bash together the past two years.
Last year, three months before they tied the knot in a star-studded Italian wedding ceremony in June 2025, Sánchez donned a white feathered Oscar de la Renta mermaid gown paired with Lorraine Schwartz emeralds.
In 2024, she stunned in a sheer red Lever Couture gown, a ruffled train and a diamond necklace.
Sánchez and Bezos, meanwhile, were joined at this year’s Vanity Fair Oscars Party by a who’s who of Hollywood, including: Nicole Kidman, Jessie Buckley, Paul Mescal and Gracie Abrams, Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian and so many more.
The pair has a busy season up ahead, as they are both serving as honorary co-chairs and lead sponsors of the Met Gala 2026 in May.
“It has been such a fun and meaningful experience,” Sánchez said during a “Today” appearance earlier this month. “When Anna called me and said, ‘Do you want to co-chair and also be the sponsors of the Met?’ I was so honored.”
She added, “It’s going to be incredible to see what everyone wears and to be able to really honor all these designers. I cannot wait.”
