Libbie Mugrabi’s socialite mom gets in screaming match with influencer at NYFW
Catwalks — not catfights — are usually expected at New York Fashion Week.
But uptown socialite Jane Scher and aspiring influencer Jean-Claude Langerholc apparently missed the memo!
Attention-seeking Langerholc claims Scher left him “black and blue” at Untitled Magazine’s NYFW bash at Aquarelle on Saturday night.
In a video, seen by Page Six, Langeholc is recording himself as Scher sips a beverage and mingles nearby.
An incensed Scher noticed him recording and exclaimed, “I’m going to throw this on your f–king face. Get away from here!”
Langeholc, sipping a beer, chuckled and shot back, “I’m on my job!”
(We’re told he works at the restaurant as a door guy twice a week).
Scher, whose daughter is socialite Libbie Mugrabi, then approached him, tilted her glass, and threatened, “Get away from here! I’ll throw this wine in your face!”
She yelled “that’s not true!” when we reached out for comment on the incident.
After we explained it was caught on video, she fumed, “the guy is stalking me… Enough is enough!”
Langerholc is embroiled in a dispute between Scher and her former assistant, who filed a lawsuit in civil court alleging Scher owes her backpay totaling $20,000, we previously reported.
But Scher previously told us that the influencer and her ex-assistant are in cahoots and bullying her. “They’re harassing and tag teaming me,” she fumed.
The socialite’s personal photographer, Robert Burek, accompanied her to the party and alleged to us that Langerholc “hit [Scher] in the hip” before he started recording.
He added that he doubles as Scher’s bodyguard because “she’s scared of this guy. I have to watch her back… He’s a nobody,” he said.
(Langerholc maintains he was simply taking a selfie clip when she allegedly attacked him).
Aquarelle owner Baris Koroglu confirmed the incident, but only added, “Let’s just say the seafood wasn’t the only thing served with a splash that night.”
As for the actual party? We hear Untitled founder Indira Cesarine and VIPs including Jill Stuart, Crystal Waters, the Muses and designer Frederick Anderson weren’t privy to all the drama.
