Linda Hogan Calls Ex-Husband Hulk Hogan a ‘Good Father’ Days After Accusing Him of Being a ‘Liar’ and ‘Sex Addict’

• Linda Hogan said her ex-husband Hulk Hogan was a “good father” to their children in a recent interview with TMZ, despite calling him a ‘liar” and “sex addict” earlier in the week.
• Linda said that Hulk spent around “$3 million” on their daughter Brooke’s career, “with no questions asked.”
• The former reality star also shared that Hulk has been “really distraught and saddened” by his estrangement from their daughter.

Linda Hogan says her ex-husband Hulk Hogan was a “good father” to their children — despite recently calling the former pro wrestler a “liar” and a “sex addict.”

In a new interview with TMZ, the 65-year-old former reality star claimed that her daughter Brooke Hogan, who has not spoken to either of her parents in years, cut her family out of her life for “bogus, selfish, childish reasons.”

Linda also said that while she’s sad she won’t get to be a grandmother to Brooke’s two children — a set of twins born in January — she still wants them to know about their grandfather’s legacy. She added that while Hulk, 71, was “a s—– husband sometimes,” she believes he was “always a good father.” 

“[He] spent probably over $3 million on Brooke’s career, with no questions asked,” she told TMZ.

The Hogan Knows Best star, who was married to Hulk from 1983 to 2009, went on to call him a “fantastic” person overall, despite their many interpersonal issues. 

“Our marriage didn’t work out, but what Brooke’s doing to us is completely unprecedented, unexpected and unfair and not true,” Linda told TMZ. “Hulk Hogan, my ex, has been really distraught and saddened by her distance, just as I and her brother Nick have as well.”

Linda also revealed that she no longer thinks that a reconciliation with Brooke, 36, is possible.

“After what Brooke has done and to punish us and torture us, to get married and to have twins and to not call us, the damage has already been done,” she told TMZ. “I don’t think she could hurt us anymore, so she can just march on her merry way with her family. I wish them well, but she has left a path of destruction.”

Linda’s words come just days after she publicly criticized her ex-husband in a post on her Instagram Stories.

“I have to be honest about what I went through in my marriage. And what it entailed and what it [has] caused over the years,” she said in her post.

“He’s a complete liar. He’s a sex addict. Yet he marches on, like, ‘Oh, I’m promoting my own beer, Real American Beer. Yeah, look at me,’ ” Linda continued, referring to Hulk’s beer company.

“I’ve given him more opportunities to come back and make up the family. It’s been 20 years and I’m still this sad. Somebody please explain that,” the mother of two then said, adding, “I do love living alone. I don’t ever want to be married again after him, trust me.”

For her part, Brooke has admitted that she currently has “no contact” with either of her parents.

“This decision was made based purely on how they have each dealt with me directly my entire life,” she wrote in a detailed post on Instagram on Wednesday, March 26.

“I have been EXTREMELY verbally and mentally abused since childhood,” Brooke alleged in the post. “Sadly, it would frequently turn physical. And sometimes it’s not by the person you would assume, abuse comes in all shapes and sizes.”

PEOPLE reached out to reps for Hulk, Linda and Brooke on Saturday, March 29, but did not receive an immediate response.
