Baby on board! Lindsay Arnold has excitedly been documenting her pregnancy milestones ever since learning she is expecting baby No. 2 with husband Sam Cusick. “First official bump video,” the Dancing With the Stars pro said in an October 2022 TikTok video. “It’s tiny, but it’s there!” Arnold — who wed Cusick in 2015 — announced earlier […]

“BABY CUSICK #3 IS ON THE WAY✨✨, she captioned a family photo of herself posing with Cusick, 31, and their two daughters, Sage, 5, and June, 2. The Dancing With the Stars pro held a photo of her sonogram up.

“We could not feel more blessed, grateful, and excited🫶🏻 we love you so much already, baby and we can’t wait to meet you!! 🥹,” she added.

The following month, Arnold opened up about how she felt ahead of welcoming her first boy via TikTok. “I still honestly kind of can’t believe it,” she shared. “We currently have two girls and I grew up in a family of all girls. I’m the oldest of four girls so girls are very relevant in my life,” she explained, noting that she has 10 nephews.

“There definitely are a lot of boys on my side and on Sam’s side,” Arnold laughed. She went on to say that “before having kids,” she was “convinced” she would be a boy mom because Cusick has mostly boys on his side of the family. “Since the gender is determined by the male sperm, I was just convinced that we were only gonna have boys.”

After having two girls, Arnold thought there was “no chance” she was going to have a son. “It felt like it was just not going to be a thing for us. If I had to guess, I thought it was going to be a girl.”

She shared that she got a blood test to determine the sex and felt like there was “pressure on this one” because it is “most likely [their] last baby.”

“Of course, we would love to experience what having a boy is like,” Arnold said. “Sam would love to have a son.

She described the feeling of finding out they’re having a boy as a “fun and cool moment.” She added, “Sam was stoked. We were both shocked. I literally cannot wait.”
Arnold also opened up about feeling “nervous” to be a boy mom because her “whole life has been so girl-heavy.”

“I’ve now been a girl mom for over five years and it just feels very much like the norm,” she explained. “I wanna step into this boy mom role and be the perfect boy mom, and I just don’t have any experience. It does feel like I’m going into the unknown.”
