Lindsay Lohan Brings Back Redhead Era With Stunning New Look After Going Blonde: ‘Iconic’

Lindsay Lohan’s new red hair is so fetch.

The Mean Girls star, 40, revealed she switched back to her iconic color in new photos shared via Instagram on Tuesday, August 4, reviving the signature shade of her mane after going platinum blonde.

“❤️,” she captioned a series of snapshots, in which she wore a blue-and-white robe that complimented her fresh copper hue. Lohan’s glam accentuated her natural beauty with a voluminous lash set, blended peach-toned eyeshadows, subtle blush and soft pink lip.

She tagged makeup artist Ash K Holm and hairstylist Danielle Priano in her post.

Fans sounded off about Lohan’s color refresh in the comments section. “The most iconic redhead in pop culture,” one social media user wrote. “Love that hair color! You look gorgeous with any color but your natural color is amazing! ❤️,” a second person agreed.

Lohan previously spoke out about her blonde era in a July 2025 interview, revealing celebrity colorist Tracey Cunningham was behind her glossy tone.

“What I love about Schwarzkopf is that it gives me that perfect, multidimensional color and shine,” she shared with Byrdie at the time. “It’s that ‘standout’ color. I also love how healthy my hair feels after being colored with Schwarzkopf, no matter how dramatic the transformation. It can be hard on your hair to go from red to blonde, but my hair has honestly never felt better.”

Cunningham, 57, reflected on their history together, revealing “some of her most iconic hair moments were ones we created side-by-side.”
