Lerman recently joined the cast of season 5 of Only Murders in the Building season 5, which is set to premiere this fall, and the show’s lead, Selena Gomez, once admitted that Lerman was her celebrity crush.

While hall passes tend to be harmless, Lerman and Gordon, 29, prove that love isn’t always easy in Oh, Hi! The duo play a couple on a romantic weekend away together, which goes awry when Lerman’s Isaac admits he doesn’t want to be in a relationship with Gordon’s Iris — while handcuffed to the bed in the midst of bondage play.

Scared of losing Isaac, Iris leaves him handcuffed to the bed and attempts to convince him to stay with her — from making French toast to stripping down for a witchy ritual.

In his real dating life, Lerman couldn’t think of any crazy first date stories to share with Us, but he did recall one work date that went horribly — and memorably — wrong.

“When you’re meeting with a filmmaker, that’s kind of a date, and this one filmmaker, this guy that I met with — a meeting’s like a date, OK? — got really nauseous and threw up everywhere in this café, and it was amazing,” Lerman recalled, adding that he doesn’t resonate with the struggles of dating in 2025 because, “I don’t date. I’m almost married. I’m, like, pretty much married.”
