Amy Hart’s fiancé has begged her to seek medical advice after she posted a concerning video on Instagram.
The Love Island star, 30, who gave birth to her son, Stanley, in March last year, revealed she was suffering from chest pain, chronic fatigue as well as pins and needles in her legs. Amy conceded she knew she needed to speak to a doctor urgently, however, after explaining she didn’t want anyone to worry about her because she “wanted to live in happiness for a few more days or weeks”, fiancé, Sam Rason, put his foot down.
Taking to Instagram describing her symptoms, the new mum said: “I need to go to bed cause I’ve got to get up early in the morning to call the doctors. Obviously if it’s something really bad don’t tell me, like let me live in happiness for a few more days or weeks whatever, but I’ve had chronic fatigue.”
Amy continued: “I’ve been having my B12 injections. I’m up to date with my B12 but I’ve been having chronic fatigue, nausea – I’m not pregnant either just to say – really awful period pain, like to the point of being doubled over in the kitchen.” She also revealed she was having “pins and needles on my feet and chest pains”.
Following her symptoms, Amy admitted Sam said to her: “Will you please go to the doctors?” Confirming “tomorrow [April 3] is that day,” The former flight attendant explained she is also going to get her folic acid and iron checked. Concluding she has five fibroids – which are non-cancerous growths that develop in or around the womb – the reality star added she was keen to have a scan as soon as possible – even if it meant she had to go privately.
Amy suffered a cancer scare in 2022 when doctors found abnormal cells in her cervix following a routine smear test. In heartbreaking news, the Love Island alum revealed doctors warned her not to conceive while they were investigating. Amy’s smear test revealed she has HPV and what looked to be “high grade precancerous cells”, which could result in miscarriage if they are removed. She then underwent an “uncomfortable” colposcopy to investigate her “dodgy cells” and was warned by a medic: “Do not get pregnant till I’ve taken these cells out.” Little did she know, Amy was already carrying her first child.
Happily, little Stanley was born without complications in March last year as the reality star told fans: “our dreamy baby boy” had arrived in an adorable post on Instagram. “Stanley Samuel Giles Rason,” Amy and Sam wrote in a joint caption while sharing a snap of their bundle of joy.
