Madonna Shares Intimate Look at Her Designer Wardrobe in $40 Million New York City Apartment

Madonna offered fans an intimate look inside her incredible $40 million New York City apartment.

“Life in my bathroom lately! Also. It’s important to read the fine print………..IF YOU WANT IT,” Madonna wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, June 18.

The “Material Girl” singer, 66, spoiled her Instagram followers with a carousel of photos showing off what she has on standby in her massive walk-in closet. From designer dresses to more casual T-shirts, Madonna displayed a well-rounded look at her current wardrobe.

The “fine print” Madonna referenced in her Instagram caption was seemingly a nod to “Mom, I Am a Rich Man” tights from Berlin designers Saint Sass, priced at $52, which she paired with a blue T-shirt and fuzzy slippers. Of course, the pop legend’s custom $100,000 crocodile leather Aupen bag made an appearance and was matched with a black-and-silver corset dress, dark tights and loafers.

Madonna repped Aupen in a second slide with its Nirvana Deluxe Noir bag ($450), which she paired with a red-and-black cropped Vaquera T-shirt ($402), black track pants and oval sunglasses. An all-white satin cover-up over a black bra and silk blouse wouldn’t have looked out of place in Madonna’s classic 1994 “Bedtime Story” music video.

German fashion brand Saint Sass appeared to be thrilled by Madonna’s shout-out and subsequently replied to her post, “POV: you’re a tiny Berlin brand and suddenly MADONNA wears your tights. We’re crying! This will be a core memory FOREVER.”

Madonna has recently been opening up her New York City apartment to fans through social media. In May, she wore her ivory Met Gala suit, designed by Haider Ackermann for Tom Ford, while allowing fashion influencer Lyas to interview her inside of her walk-in closet.

As the influencer filmed racks of designer outfits from John Galliano, Jean Paul Gaultier and many others, he asked Madonna to reflect on the many high-fashion runway shows she attended in Paris in the 1990s.

“Those were the best [days]. They’ll never be like that again,” Madonna reminisced. “[Fashion] has changed a lot. I felt really special going to a fashion show … I miss that deep dive into culture that used to be part of fashion shows. I don’t think people have the luxury to do that anymore.”

When the influencer asked whether it’s “better to be gay to work in fashion,” Madonna offered a typically witty response.

“It’s a must,” she insisted. “What are you talking about? If you’re not gay and you’re working in fashion, you need to become gay!”

Madonna has come a long way since she moved from Bay City, Michigan, to New York City in 1978. She first lived in a spare bedroom before moving to a fourth-floor walk-up apartment in the East Village as she strived to break into the music industry.

She currently resides in a $40 million, 13-bedroom Upper East Side home with every designer amenity imaginable, including original paintings by artists Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat on her walls.
