Meghan Markle breaks down how she and Prince Harry keep ‘privileged’ Archie and Lilibet grounded

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s kids are privileged and they know it.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex believe it is “really important” to teach Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, to “understand the value of things.”

Markle, 43, explained how she and her husband talk to the little ones about money on Tuesday’s episode of the “Aspire” podcast.

Gardening has been a “great” teaching moment, the former actress said, explaining that the siblings learn “patience and good values and to appreciate their food.”

Archie and Lilibet even run “a little farmers market stand” sometimes.

“We grow a lot of veggies and part of what I want them to learn is … you start from seed and you watch it grow,” Markle noted. “But with that is, ‘Now do you want to sell your harvest? Do you want to share it with our community? And also, what do you want to do with those funds once you have them?’”

As her kids learn “counting and numbers and all those things,” she wants them to “really understand … there is a cost and a price.”

Markle added, “I think that’s key. … Especially [for] children who are very lucky to have a home that is privileged.

“You need to know that — just like manners and taking care of the things around you — there is a value on things,” she continued.

The “Suits” alum and Harry, 40, welcomed Archie and Lilibet in May 2019 and June 2021, respectively.

The foursome reside in a $14 million Montecito, Calif., mansion.

Markle has been sharing more about her primarily private children since returning to social media in recent months.

Not only did Markle post touching tributes for both Archie and Lilibet’s birthdays this year, but she shared footage of their theme park trip last week.

“Thank you @disneyland for giving our family two days of pure joy!” the “Deal or No Deal” alum gushed.

She also shouted out her partner as the “best dad” and their family’s “favorite guy” on Father’s Day over the weekend with never-before-seen home videos.

The couple, who wed in 2018, went viral over another throwback video — this time, doing the “Baby Momma Dance” in the delivery room.

Markle defended the “authentic” and “fun” upload on Tuesday’s episode.

“With all the noise or whatever people do, there’s still a whole life … behind the scenes,” she said. “I have a place where I can share it on my own terms.”
