Meghan Markle says she and Prince Harry are in a ‘honeymoon period again’ after divorce rumors

He’s got the sparkle for Meghan Markle.
The Duchess of Sussex gushed over her marriage to Prince Harry in a new interview, further shutting down chatter of trouble in paradise.
Markle, 43, told People in a cover story published Monday that her husband is loving seeing her tap back into her entrepreneurial passions with her lifestyle brand, As Ever, and her Netflix series, “With Love, Meghan.”
“My husband met me when I had [now-defunct lifestyle blog] The Tig, and I see this spark in his eye when he sees me doing the thing that I was doing when he first met me,” she marveled.
“It’s almost like a honeymoon period again because it’s exactly how it was in the beginning when he’d watch me scribbling away, writing newsletters, fine-tuning edits and just really being in the details of it.”
The former actress believes the Duke of Sussex, 40, “loves watching” as much as she loves “doing that creative process.”
She noted, “It’s just been fun. This is who I’ve always been.”
The “Suits” star launched The Tig in 2014 while she was starring on the hit show. But she shut down the blog — and deleted her personal Instagram account — as her relationship with Harry became more serious and she transitioned into royal life.
“I loved The Tig, but I certainly love my husband more,” Markle — who married Harry in May 2018 — explained to People. “So that was a choice I made at the time, and I wouldn’t change that for a second.”
In addition to their individual projects, the couple also run their non-profit, Archewell Foundation.
“We’ve been such a close team for so long that we’re just in it beat by beat with each other, and I love that,” Markle shared as she expressed gratitude for the prince’s “support.”
Harry, for his part, outwardly denied divorce rumors in December while attending the New York Times’ 2024 DealBook Summit.
“Apparently, we’ve bought or moved house 10, 12 times,” he quipped at the event. “We’ve apparently divorced maybe 10, 12 times as well. So it’s just like, ‘What?’”
Though he emphasized that the constant attention on his marriage is “definitely not a good thing,” the renegade royal ultimately pities those who speculate about it.
“It’s hard to keep up with, but that’s why you just sort of ignore it,” he said at the time.
“The people I feel most sorry about are the trolls. Their hopes are just built and built, and it’s like, ‘Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes,’ and then it doesn’t happen. So I feel sorry for them. Genuinely, I do.”
Despite his approach, Harry — who grew up in the limelight — admitted that he has found himself “questioning the validity of the information but also what other people are thinking of that as well, and how dangerous it can be over the course of time.”
He and Markle have called Montecito, Calif., their home since they stepped down from their royal duties and moved across the pond in early 2020.
They are parents to Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3.
