Meghan Markle soaks in the ‘last of summer’ in Montecito garden snap taken pre-UK move

Meghan Markle spent some of the final days of the summer gardening at her Montecito, California, home before she, Prince Harry and their kids moved to the UK.

On the Duchess of Sussex’s As Ever Instagram page Saturday, the food brand posted a photo of Markle in what appeared to be the garden of her and the Duke of Sussex’s $14 million Montecito home.

In the snap, Markle, who was dressed in a white T-shirt, matching skirt and an oversized sunhat, was picking vegetables from her garden.

“Soaking in the last of summer in the garden,” they captioned the post, on which the comments were also turned off.

The photo came a few days after Markle, 45, Harry, 41, and their kids, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, arrived in the UK last Wednesday.

The Sussexes reportedly flew privately from California and landed at Birmingham Airport around lunchtime.

Page Six exclusively reported that the 10-hour flight on the private plane cost the couple a staggering $12,000 per hour.

A source told Page Six that Markle and Harry opted for a private jet so they could travel across the pond with their family dogs.

Earlier this month, the “Harry & Meghan” stars announced they would be moving back to the UK for an “extended period” — six years after quitting the royal family and relocating to North America.

Page Six was told that Harry’s father, King Charles III, 77, was notified of the move days before news broke to the public.

We exclusively reported that the family of four moved back overseas to be closer to Charles — who is battling cancer — and to ensure their children build relationships with family.

Archie and Lilibet are slated to begin school in England next week.

Both Harry and the “Suits” actress will move into “a non-royal residence,” where they will “continue with their business enterprises,” the US Sun reported.
